Kids Parade

The Kids Parade is for kids 12 years and younger. Friends and family enjoy watching as the kids parade around Carrier Blake Park in costume and homemade floats.
The parade line up begins at the southwest corner of the soccer fields at Carrie Blake Park. It travels north along the path, then crosses the foot bridge to the west, and the turns south towards the bandshell.
No registration required, all are welcome to show up and join in. Costumes required for judging only, those 12 and under not in costumes are still welcome to join in the parade and will receive a ribbon.
Prizes are awarded in the following categories:
- Best Storybook Character
- Best Pet
- All About Sequim
- Festival Theme
- A Best Overall is awarded, with the winner being invited to participate in the Grand Parade on Grand Finale weekend.
How to Take Part in the kids parade
Who can join: Kids 12 and under—parade in costumes and/or homemade floats (friends and family welcome to watch!).
Where to line up: Southwest corner of the soccer fields at Carrie Blake Park.
How to participate: No registration needed—just show up and join in; costumes are only required for judging (all participants receive a ribbon).
