Want to Volunteer for the Sequim Irrigation Festival?
The Sequim Irrigation Festival is made possible entirely by volunteers. Each year, more than 100 community members come together to plan, organize, and staff this beloved event. Volunteer opportunities range from larger commitments—such as serving on the Board of Directors or helping plan festival events—to smaller, flexible roles like decorating, setting up events, or taking tickets.

As the festival approaches, many events have specific volunteer needs. If you’re interested in helping with a particular event, visit that event’s page to learn more about how you can get involved.
Festival Committee & Meetings
The Sequim Irrigation Festival Committee meets on the first Wednesday of each
month.
- Board Meeting: 5:30 PM
- Full Membership Meeting: 6:00 PM
- Optional Dinner: 6:00 PM
Meetings are typically held at The Big Elk in Sequim. All members, guests, and prospective volunteers are welcome to attend. This is a great way to meet the team, learn what we do, and see where you might fit in. (Please note: there is no committee meeting in May.) For meeting location details, contact info@irrigationfestival.com.
Volunteer Benefits
Volunteers who contribute 4 hours or more receive a one-of-a-kind Sequim Irrigation Festival Volunteer T-shirt. These popular shirts are exclusively for volunteers and are not available for purchase.

If you have skills or interest in these areas, please contact the Festival Director or attend a committee meeting to connect with committee chairs and other volunteers.
Leading a Festival Committee
Some volunteers take on leadership roles by chairing an event or support committee. Committee Chairs guide planning and preparation and work with a team of volunteers to bring each event to life.
