Getting Here & Parking

Getting here

Sequim is on the Olympic Peninsula along US-101.

  • From Seattle: Seattle–Bainbridge ferry → Hwy 305 → Hwy 3 → Hwy 104 (Hood Canal Bridge) → US-101.
  • From Tacoma: Hwy 16 → Hwy 3 → Hwy 104 → US-101.
  • From Olympia: US-101 north to Sequim.

Parking

Carrie Blake Park (Crazy Callen Weekend):

  • Attendee parking is directed behind Trinity United Methodist Church (no parking at the church itself).
  • Accessible parking is near the Reclamation Park entrance on Blake Ave.


Grand Parade (Grand Finale Weekend):

  • The parade runs along Washington Street and nearby streets will be busy/restricted around parade time.
  • Best approach: arrive early, park once, and plan to walk.

Where to Stay & Eat

Sequim has hotels, motels, B&Bs, vacation rentals, RV parks, and camping, great for using Sequim as a basecamp for the Olympic Peninsula.

  • Pets

    Sequim requires dogs to be leashed when off the owner’s property; Carrie Blake Park also has a fenced off-leash dog park.

  • What to bring

    Walking shoes, layers, sunscreen/hat, water bottle, and chairs/blanket for parade viewing.

  • Weather

    Rain shadow climate (low annual rainfall), but May can change quickly—bring a light rain layer just in case.
